Usually after a race, especially a big one, I can’t wait to sit down and write a race recap to share with y’all. Boston on the Holy Day of St. Practice
As you may recall, we found ourselves having the weekend of St. Patrick’s Day completely free of obligations. Last week we talked about the plan we hatched to drive the snakes out of South Boston (otherwise known as drinking a lot of beer at Irish Pubs.) Driving the Snakes Out of South Boston
An amazing thing happened last October. We looked ahead at our calendar for March and realized we had the weekend of St. Patty’s day free. We had no running obligations, work obligations, or family obligations. That’s right, we were so free, we were practically footloose. Boston 2022 – Getting There and Being There! Nothing compares to Boston in the Springtime – especially if you’re a runner (or runnah, as the locals say.) Look at the Fun we had at the Boston Marathon!
What he did – It was a cool morning for the Boston Marathon. Stephen was up and out the door by 5:45 in order to get on the T and get on the charter bus to the start line. What I did – Since I was training for a half marathon, I got up and did a 7 mile “long run” from our place along the Charles River Esplanades.
