While at the airport lounge in Detroit, or “my favorite haunt”, I got an unexpected email. Seems someone came across our “How to Spend the Perfect Day in Boston” article. Pacing with a Purpose: A Marathon Weekend in Gladstone
This past weekend, I had the privilege of pacing the 3:45 group at the MISH Waterfront Marathon in scenic Gladstone, MI, with the amazing team at OnPace Race. With Lake Michigan stretching out beside us and the morning mist lifting off the water, it was one of those races that reminds me why I run in the first place. Gladstone may be small, but it brings serious energy on race day. Runners gathered near the waterfront, the air cool and crisp—ideal marathon conditions. Our Annual Trip in the Time Machine
As you know, we love to trot the globe and see new places. But did you know that sometimes we stay right here in Michigan and still find fun things to do? For instance, every fall we don medieval garb and head to Holly for our annual trip in the time machine. Join us as we share one helluva huzzah at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. Adventure to the Most Haunted Cemetery in Michigan
If you’re anything like me, you go on “kicks” from time to time. Maybe it’s making your own pizza dough or teaching yourself to play the piano. In my case, it was collecting and reading every book about haunted places in Michigan. Some of it was “meh”, like ANOTHER story about a haunted lighthouse.
